World Through Lens Photography Terms & Conditions.

Thank you for choosing World Through Lens Photography for your photography needs. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with our services. By accepting our quotation, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Payments:
   - A non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the total quotation is required to secure your booking.
   - Upon completion of the shoot, 85% of the total project amount is to be remitted by the client

   - Promised RAW data can be shared after this process  

   - Pending 15% payment to be made once edited samples are shared 

   - All edited content will be delivered once complete payment is cleared by the client

   - Payments can be made via Cash, UPI, or Bank Transfer.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
   - In the event of a cancellation by the client, the booking fee is non-refundable.
   - Cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled photoshoot will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the total quotation.
   - Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made at least 7 days before the original photoshoot date.

3. Photoshoot Details:
   - The client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the event location, date, and time, 
   - Any changes to the photoshoot details must be communicated to World Through Lens Photography as soon as possible.
   - Delays caused by the client (e.g., tardiness, location change) may result in reduced shooting time.

4. Creative Control and Editing: 
   - World Through the Lens Photography reserves the right to exercise creative judgment in capturing and editing photographs.
   - The client acknowledges that the style and quality of the photographs may vary based on factors such as lighting conditions and location.

5. Delivery of Photographs:
   - The final edited photographs will be delivered to the client within 2 weeks of the photoshoot date, unless otherwise specified.

   -  The final edited video will be delivered to the client within 4 weeks of the shoot date, unless otherwise specified. 

   - World Through the Lens Photography will provide the client with a digital gallery containing the edited high-resolution images.
   - Additional editing requests may be accommodated at an additional cost.

6. Image Usage and Copyright:
   - World Through the Lens Photography retains the copyright to all photographs taken during the photoshoot.
   - The client is granted personal usage rights to the photographs for non-commercial purposes only.
   - Commercial use of the photographs requires prior written consent from World Through the Lens Photography and may incur additional fees.

7. Model Release:
   - The client grants World Through the Lens Photography the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs for promotional purposes, including but not limited to online portfolios and social media.

8. Liability:
   - World Through the Lens Photography will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the photoshoot, unless caused by negligence on the part of the photographer.

9. Expedited Delivery:

   - Our standard delivery time for videos is within 21 working days and for photos is within 10 working days from the date of the photoshoot, unless otherwise specified.

   - If the client requires expedited delivery of the photographs or videos before the standard timeframe, additional charges may apply.

   - The amount of the expedited delivery fee will be determined based on the specific requirements and urgency of the request.

10. Trust in the Creative Process:

​

• Clients book World Through the Lens Photography based on the quality and style of our work showcased in our portfolio and other promotional materials.

• Upon making a booking with us, clients are expected to trust the expertise and creative judgment of our photographers.

• While our photographers will endeavor to accommodate client requests and preferences to the best of their ability, it's important to understand that photography is a creative process.

• We cannot guarantee specific results as each session is influenced by various factors including but not limited to lighting conditions, weather, and the cooperation of subjects.

• Clients are encouraged to communicate their vision and expectations to our team, but ultimately, they must trust in the photographer's artistic discretion to deliver high-quality results.

11. Final Result and Payment Obligation:

   - World Through the Lens strives to deliver high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations. However, we cannot guarantee client satisfaction with the final outcome due to the nature of photography and the various circumstances that may arise during an event or photoshoot.
   - Therefore, no refunds will be provided if the client is dissatisfied with the final result.
   - However, one correction will be provided for images and video edits if the client identifies a specific aspect that requires adjustment or correction.
   - Once the work has been completed and delivered to the client, it is considered final and non-refundable.
   - If in case, a client refuses to make the pending payment for services rendered, World Through the Lens Photography reserves the right to take legal action to recover unpaid bills.
   - Clients are encouraged to communicate any concerns or preferences regarding the final result before the completion of the project to allow for adjustments or accommodations where possible.

12. Video Editing Terms :

​​

• In video editing, timeline changes such as song changes will not be possible after the final delivery. Only small changes that do not impact the timeline of the song are allowed.

• Clients are encouraged to communicate any specific editing requests during the initial consultation or before the editing process begins to ensure their preferences are accommodated to the best extent possible.

• It is important to note that significant alterations to the video timeline or structure may not be feasible after the final delivery.

• If the client introduces their own alterations or requests changes that substantially deviate from the original agreement, World Through the Lens Photography will not be held responsible for any resulting dissatisfaction with the final result.

• By entrusting World Through the Lens Photography with the creative process, clients accept our complete creative freedom to provide the best results possible based on our professional judgment and expertise.

13. Client Conduct:

​

In rare instances where a client engages in abusive behavior, displays inappropriate conduct, or attempts to blackmail our photographers or team members, we reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect the well-being and integrity of our team. Such behavior undermines the collaborative spirit essential to a successful photoshoot and violates our commitment to fostering a respectful and professional environment. In such cases, we may exercise our discretion to cancel the shoot without refunds. We value the safety and dignity of our team members and will not tolerate behavior that compromises their well-being or undermines the integrity of our services.

By accepting our quotation and booking our services, clients acknowledge and agree to the payment terms outlined herein, understanding that refusal to make the pending payment may result in legal action.
